
On January 23, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha observed ‘Parakram Diwas’ to commemorate the 128th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
CM Saha underscored the importance of the day during an interview with reporters, stating, “In 2021, Prime Minister Modi declared that Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s birthday should be celebrated as ‘Parakram Diwas’.” Our celebration today is dedicated to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
The chief minister also observed that a school in Tripura is named after Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, and its pupils participate in an annual rally to commemorate the day.
He described the ceremony as a significant occasion for the people of Tripura and expressed his joy at being a part of it. “It is a significant event for the people of Tripura,” CM Saha stated, emphasizing the significance of the occasion in commemorating the legacy of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
Additionally,CM Saha disclosed that the rally has been conducted since 1951.
