Tribal affairs Department organised a State Level spear throwing competition on the occasion of Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh celebration & IEC campaign during the Hornbill festival at NSF solidarity park, Kohima on December 7.
Altogether 32 participants participated representing sixteen tribes and foreigners from Australia and Sri Lanka also participated in throwing the Naga spear.
Letuozo Patrick Kiewhuo Angami emerged as the winner while Merithung Lotha and Penhaulungzing Mbung Zeliang secured second and third position respectively.
